Publish your story

The journey from manuscript to readers made simple.

Submit your first three chapters.

Our editors read every submission personally. Works in progress and serial releases are welcome.

Prepare your submission.

We'll require your story's material to prepare it for publication. This includes a cover art, the creative content, and some metadata.

Publish your book and get paid.

Your story is published in our library. Every word your readers read puts money directly back in your pocket.

Content we accept.

We accept completed works and ongoing serials in fiction genres. Every submission is reviewed by a member of our editorial team, with stories selected based on alignment with our standards.

Our requirements:

  • Your first three chapters, ready to be read.
  • Full rights to your story must be yours.
  • An original book cover, created by a human artist, is required.
  • No AI-generated text. What is de minimis AI use?

Sparkle

The average author earns less than $1 a month. We think you deserve better than that.

Here, every word counts. Literally.

Most platforms make it hard to understand what you're earning. On Quibble, you're paid per word read, with clear, transparent tracking in your dashboard.

For busy writers.

Publish chapters on your terms.

We don't require a finished book to be published. You can drop a cliffhanger on a Tuesday, surprise your readers with an unplanned chapter and even revise as you go. Your story moves at your own pace.

We put an end to the era of ghosting.

Send us your first three chapters and we'll take it from there; with real attention and full transparency. Every submission gets read by a human who wants to find a reason to say yes.

If your story is accepted, we introduce it to the community with a dedicated launch moment in the app.

We don't believe in the "perfect writer".

Great writing takes time.

We're looking for stories written with intention, by people willing to rewrite, and keep going. If that's you, we'll help your story reach the right readers.

Our commitment to you.

Commitment icon

Dear writer,

Your story belongs to you. That's where everything starts for us. When you share your manuscript with us, it is only to verify that it is written by a person.

We never use your work to train AI, create content, or change it in any way. Your words are yours, always.

Your manuscript is treated with care and is only accessed when necessary to protect its integrity. If you ever decide to step away, you can. You remain in control.

This is a space created to respect your work, not take from it.

With care,

The Quibble Team

What writers are saying.

It's a sleek interface for browsing new authors without needing to trudge through AI.

Juno
Juno The Viridian Sphere

Since joining Quibble, being an author has been extremely fulfilling. I started my writing career with the goal of making a name for myself and getting my stories out there. But now on top of that, I’m working to grow with a platform that wants to help me sail across an ocean of challenges. I’ve got something to work towards — a purpose — and it’s nice to know I’m not just drifting aimlessly. So in conclusion, fun, thrilling, and fulfilling.

Quibble seems to me like something that, with enough time, and effort, and luck, can become something big and important and beautiful.

While the industry holds on to their trends, Quibble tries to find diamonds in the rough.
