Authors with completed novels can apply for a human-authored badge after publication. For readers, it is a sign that there is a person, with their own voice and imagination, behind the story. We review each eligible work holistically before granting the mark.
The badge is optional, and many stories may not have one. Its absence does not indicate lower quality, reduced human authorship, or greater use of AI-assisted tools.

As an author who's only been published once so far in a tiny magazine, Quibble sounds like everything I've been looking for to get the ball rolling on my writing. Since joining Quibble, being an author has been extremely fulfilling. I started my writing career with the goal of making a name for myself and getting my stories out there. But now on top of that, I’m working to grow with a platform that wants to help me sail across an ocean of challenges. I’ve got something to work towards — a purpose — and it’s nice to know I’m not just drifting aimlessly. So in conclusion, fun, thrilling, and fulfilling.

Quibble seems to me like something that, with enough time, and effort, and luck, can become something big and important and beautiful.
