Code of Conduct
Last Update: 17th September 2025
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone using Quibble whether you're a writer, reader, event host, moderator, or community participant. Our goal is to maintain a space that's respectful, collaborative, and creative.
Respect for Others
All users must treat one another with respect and courtesy - on the app, in comments, during live events, and in Discord or any other affiliated community spaces.
- Personal attacks, insults, or harassment are not tolerated.
- Respect others' identities, beliefs, and creative expression—even when you disagree.
- Criticism should be constructive and focused on ideas, not individuals.
Integrity and Honesty
We expect transparency and fairness in how users present themselves and engage with content.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Don't manipulate engagement, feedback, or reviews.
- Do not spam or self-promote in a way that disrupts conversations or undermines trust.
Community Contribution
Quibble thrives on generosity, not competition. All users are expected to contribute positively to the community.
- Share your insights, support fellow authors, and engage meaningfully.
- Celebrate others' success. It strengthens the ecosystem for everyone.
- If you're participating in Discord or community events, show up in good faith.
Safe and Inclusive Environment
We are committed to fostering a safe space for all voices.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or targeted hostility based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any other identity will not be tolerated.
- Content or comments that create a hostile environment—subtle or overt—may result in account restrictions or removal.
Moderator and Editorial Respect
Our moderators and editorial team exist to support the platform's integrity. Their decisions are final.
- If a decision is unclear, you're welcome to ask for clarification respectfully.
- Harassing or pressuring moderators, editors, or staff will not be tolerated.
Reporting and Accountability
If you witness or experience conduct that violates these guidelines, report it on Discord, using the in-app tools or by emailing [email protected].
We take all reports seriously and will review them with discretion. Violations may result in limited access, suspended privileges, or account removal, based on severity and history.
